We’re redefining how you rent with an all-in-one rental platform that simplifies management for landlords and delivers a seamless experience for tenants.

At August, we streamline all aspects of renting through our app. From paying rent and reporting issues to accessing documents and more. Using AI, we automate as much as possible, including property and tenancy creation, with August intelligence pre-populating details from uploaded tenancy agreements.

With millions of independent landlords still relying on homemade spreadsheets or outdated systems, isn’t it time there was a much better option? August provides an affordable, efficient alternative by automating up to 75% of a landlord’s workload.

About the role

We’re looking for a driven Growth Manager with a track record of delivering high-performing campaigns and a sharp commercial mindset. You’ll lead our digital marketing efforts, shaping our brand voice, driving user acquisition across app platforms, and delivering measurable growth.

You’ll thrive here if you love working in fast-moving, collaborative environments and are ready to take full ownership of marketing in a growing startup. Ideally you’ll have at least three years of experience in a high-performing team who’s now ready to step up and make a broader impact.

You’ll be responsible for creating compelling content, running high-impact campaigns, and using data to optimise performance across all digital channels. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Director, CEO and Founder to shape and execute our growth strategy—bringing fresh ideas, strong execution, and a test-and-learn mindset.

Skills you should hold

Subscription Growth Experience
Deep experience growing subscription-based mobile products, with a strong grasp of lifecycle marketing, retention strategies, and optimising conversion across key user touch points.

Mobile Growth Expertise
Proven track record of driving organic and paid user acquisition for mobile apps, ideally within high-growth or top-tier consumer brands. Experienced in scaling apps through a mix of ASO, content strategies, influencer campaigns, and performance marketing.

Data Analytics Proficiency
Highly skilled in analysing mobile marketing performance using tools like Appsflyer, Mixpanel, Tableau, App Store Connect, and Google Play Console. Comfortable working with third-party ASO platforms and interpreting both on-chain and off-chain data to inform growth strategy.

Mastery of Growth Fundamentals
Deep understanding of mobile growth loops, conversion funnels, and retention mechanics. Experienced in optimising k-factor, launching referral programs, and designing experiments that drive measurable impact across acquisition and engagement.

App Store Optimisation (ASO)
Hands-on experience managing ASO for top-ranking mobile apps. Skilled in keyword research, metadata optimisation, creative A/B testing, and improving store conversion rates to drive sustainable organic growth.

Lifecycle Marketing Expertise
Experienced in planning and executing lifecycle campaigns across push, in-app messaging, email, and SMS to improve activation, retention, and monetisation. Skilled in segmentation, journey mapping, and personalisation to drive user engagement.

Strategic and Creative Thinking
Able to balance analytical rigour with inventive campaign ideation. Comfortable leveraging best practices while also identifying unconventional opportunities to drive meaningful and differentiated growth.
