I almost got hit with a hefty fine because I'd completely forgotten about an expiring gas safety certificate. August flagged it for me with a reminder and checklist, so I managed to book the inspection just in time. If I'd missed it, the penalty would have cost me hundreds. The app literally paid for itself in that one moment, and now I feel much more confident that nothing slips through the cracks.

I've run on spreadsheets till now, making tax digital made me push to find a solution, I've been surprised by how much work I was previously doing before using August. Now I'm confident that my units are tracked and I don't even need to think about it. It's such a useful tool and the team have been very useful getting me started. Special mention to Tancrede to answering my never ensuing questions about linking my bank. Very useful tool for small landlords.

I have recently started using the August app and it is a game changer. The tenant rent tracker and maintenance log is a great feature and having a list of all documents required to stay in line with all the new legislation takes the stress out of it all. Samuel and his team have been incredibly helpful and taken the time to talk through things I haven't understood and I am excited to see all the new features coming soon, I would definitely recommend!

Had an issue where my tenant's rent payment showed as pending for a few days. Team got back to me within minutes, resolved it within the hour and gave me 3 months for free as an apology, this is what you call customer service!

I've tried a few different tools over the years and most of them just add more admin. This is the first one that genuinely simplifies things. Everything I need is in one place, rent tracking, reminders, and keeping on top of compliance without having to constantly double-check what I've missed. What I like most is how straightforward it is. It doesn't feel overcomplicated or like you need to 'learn' the system, it just works. It's made managing properties feel far less stressful and much more organised. Definitely wouldn't go back.

We have been using August for the last couple of months and are really loving it so far. No one else is doing what August is and it's a simple and easy way to manage all your properties. It has made it easier for ourselves as landlords, but also for our tenants. They are constantly adding new features and it's exciting to see where the app is going. I am most excited for the reminders feature so we don't have to store everything in our calendars!

way cheaper than an agent....for the price, this is an absolute steal. My previous software (Arthur) charges way more for literally half the features/ value. What I like most is that August offers a fixed price, I wouldn't bother if it was priced per property.

Honestly, I just got sick of reading article after article to stay informed. Left my NRLA membership and tried August instead. It actually works for keeping me in the loop. Not another thing to read. It just tells me what matters, what I need to do, who's paid, what's coming up, etc.

I've been using the August app for a few months now, and honestly, it's made managing rentals so much smoother. As a landlord, the automatic rent tracking is a huge time-saver, no more checking bank statements or chasing payments. I get notified when rent is paid, and it keeps everything crystal clear. It's also helped me stay on top of compliance by keeping key documents like safety certificates and tenancy agreements all in one place. I've saved hours not having to switch between emails, folders, or spreadsheets. From my tenants' side, I've had great feedback too. They love being able to pay rent directly through the app, and the automatic reminders mean they never forget. Maintenance issues are now logged through the app too, so everything is documented and nothing gets lost in messages. Overall, August has taken a lot of the stress out of renting. Highly recommend it to anyone managing properties or renting, it just works.

Excellent app!! Helps me manage my portfolio of properties in an easy to use, stress free way. Everything I need from checking my tenants have paid on time to reminding me when tenancies are up for renewal or I need to carry out gas certificates, and so much more. Highly recommend this app.

For tenants such as myself, August is an absolute game changer. I no longer have the hassle of digging through emails for my lease docs, I never have to worry about forgetting or missing a rent payment, and I can easily let my landlord know when something needs fixing rather than having to constantly message back and forth!
