How to 'add a property'?

What is 'add a property'?
A quick link to add one of your rental properties to August. It starts with the “Add Property” flow in the Properties tab.

What does it do?
It let's you create a property record by choosing Single-let or HMO, looking up the address by postcode, and saving it.

What’s the benefit?
Fast, accurate setup that unlocks tenancy creation and compliance tasks straight away.

How do I add a property?

• Open the Properties tab and tap +.

• Select Single-let or HMO.

• Enter the postcode, tap Look up, then choose the correct address from the list.

• Tap Continue to finish.

That’s it, your property is created. Next, select Add a tenancy to set up the tenants.

Tip: If your address doesn’t appear, check the postcode. If still missing, add the address manually.
