Skip the printing, posting, and inbox chaos. Share documents directly with your tenants through the app.

How it works

When you upload a document, you'll spot a Share with tenant(s) toggle. Flip it on and your tenants can view the document straight away in their Documents tab. They'll get a notification so they know something new has landed.

It's strictly view and download only. Your tenants can't make any changes to what you've shared.

Choose who sees what

You've got options:

  • Select a property – then pick a specific tenancy or individual tenants within it

  • Leave it open – don't select a property or tenancy and the document goes out to every tenant you have

Handy for things like your contact details or house rules that apply across all your properties.

Changed your mind?

Just switch the toggle off. The document disappears from your tenant's view immediately.

What about past tenants?

Documents you've shared stay accessible to previous tenants too, handy for their records.

What's worth sharing?

Some documents are legally required, these are perfect for sharing through the app:

  • Gas Safety Certificate – needs to be provided before move-in and within 28 days of each annual check

  • EICR – your electrical safety report, required every 5 years

  • EPC – must be provided before move-in

  • How to Rent guide – the government guide (August automatically shares Right to Rent document with every tenant, so you don't need to worry about that one.)

  • Deposit protection details – info about your chosen scheme

You might also want to share your tenancy agreement, inventory, appliance manuals, or emergency contact details.
