August named a Recognised Service Provider by York Residential Landlords Association

York, 28 August 2026 — August, the property management platform for self-managing residential landlords, has become a Recognised Service Provider with York Residential Landlords Association (York RLA).

Founded in 1994, York RLA represents private landlords across York and the surrounding area and is recognised by City of York Council, North Yorkshire Police and the city's academic institutions as a voice for responsible letting. Its Recognised Service Provider directory lists suppliers the association has assessed and is willing to put in front of its membership.

The recognition gives York RLA members a route to software built specifically for landlords who manage their own properties rather than use an agent. August brings rent tracking through FCA-regulated open banking, compliance and document management, tenancy records and HMRC-recognised Making Tax Digital submissions into a single platform across web, iOS and Android.

The recognition follows a run of partnerships August has agreed with regional landlord associations across England, as more self-managing landlords look for tools to handle tighter compliance obligations following the commencement of the Renters' Rights Act 2025.
